How Do You Seed God?

No, there’s no typo in the title.  I’m not asking “How do you see God?”  I’m asking how you plant or “seed” God in others.  Paul the apostle, in his letter to the Corinthian church, said, “I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.”  1 Corinthians 3:6

In the next verse, Paul states, “It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.”

Keeping it simple today, I have a few questions:

1.  In your estimation, what are “God Seeds?”

2.  How do you plant them in others?

3.  Besides planters and waterers, are there different people who do other stuff to the seeds?  Like what?

  1. Peter says:

The Seed is the Life of God transferred through Words. It is speaking forth Christ, by His Spirit. We plant the Seed by walking by the Spirit. It is Christ spreading Himself through us. We are sharing the Seed, Who has been planted into us. Watering can be done in many ways. In the gathering of the saints here, we have often experienced the Lord pruning us. Cutting off whatever is of death, so that more Life may grow.

In a parallel picture to watering, Jesus told the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15 that He was feeding people with His actions and words. Paul used the picture of building, as well as the cultivated land. Likewise, I would say that the preparation of the Bride/virgins for the Bridegroom is saying the same thing.
